ALPACA SWEATER
... for ladies who like it comfortable
Alpaca pullovers are the ideal item of clothing for women who want something special. You probably already have enough standard sweaters in your closet. The natural fiber alpaca wool - also known as the fleece of the gods - is soft, warm and breathable at the same time. On the one hand, your pullover made of alpaca wool will keep you warm and on the other hand, it won't make you sweat. A special feature of the alpaca fiber is its noble shine, which makes your women's alpaca pullover shine and gives it a high-quality look. Alpaca wool is a natural fiber that is obtained from the fur of alpacas. Alpacas live in the Andes mountains of South America, in countries such as Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, and have been bred there for thousands of years for their valuable wool. They live in the high mountains at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. The harsh weather conditions of their habitat have a significant influence on their warm, soft wool, which protects the Andean camels from cold, wind, rain and at the same time intense sunlight. It is important to know that alpacas are bred. This goes back to the time of the Incas, when alpaca wool was reserved for the nobility due to its softness. Alpacas are descended from wild vicuñas and thus inherited their exceptional wool quality. Vicuna wool is the most expensive wool in the world and is offered by high-priced design labels.

Special features of women's pullovers made of alpaca wool
Softness
Unlike cashmere or merino, there is no such thing as one type of alpaca wool. Instead, there are five different quality levels based on their fineness and softness. The softest fiber is baby alpaca, which is particularly suitable for soft pullovers and soft scarves. Baby alpaca is as soft as cashmere and is more expensive due to its rarity.
For all seasons
Thin alpaca pullovers for women are suitable for spring and summer, while thicker alpaca wool pullovers with more wool are guaranteed to keep you warm in the cold winter months. Alpaca wool is the warmest wool and is a full seven times warmer than sheep's wool.
Breathable
Luxury clothing such as women's alpaca pullovers are often beautiful but not practical. Alpaca wool is different. It is breathable and neutralizes bacteria that cause bad odors.
Allergy-friendly
Alpaca wool contains hardly any lanolin (wool fat), which often triggers allergic reactions. Alpaca wool of the highest quality does not scratch, but is instead particularly gentle on the skin. Alpaca wool is an excellent choice for allergy sufferers, especially for clothing in the natural colors of the alpacas. White, brown and black offer color intensity without any chemical coloring.
For eternity
Unlike cashmere, alpaca fibers are long, durable and tear-resistant. Even after frequent washing, your alpaca pullover for women does not lose its shape and softness and dries quickly.
Alpaca
Guaranteed animal welfare
Animal welfare organizations such as PETA describe alpaca wool as animal cruelty. The reason for this is the inhumane conditions during alpaca shearing on large farms in Peru and other countries. For this reason, buyers of alpaca clothing should look for wool without animal cruelty certificates. The alpaca wool that we use to make our clothing has been awarded the Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS), a certificate that guarantees that alpaca wool is obtained in a way that is appropriate for the animals.
A common misconception about baby alpaca is that the wool is obtained from small alpaca babies. This is due to the unfortunate choice of term "baby alpaca". Baby alpaca wool is the finest and softest alpaca wool. It is obtained from protected body parts of adult alpacas and has nothing to do with young alpacas.

Alpaca pullover from Peru for women
Alpaca pullovers for women from Peru often have an intense pattern and are therefore not suitable for every taste. In our collection you will therefore find elegant, stylish alpaca pullovers from Peru, plain, with special necklines or with a subtle pattern. Quality-conscious people appreciate the comfort and warmth of alpaca clothing. At the same time, alpaca wool is also environmentally friendly and sustainable, as the South American camels are environmentally friendly animals and have a small ecological footprint. Fortunately, alpaca wool is also not subject to mass production. We source our alpaca wool from Peru, the land of the alpacas, and the clothing is also made there. More than 80% of the world's alpaca population can be found in this Andean country. We offer alpaca pullovers from Peru in various degrees of warmth. Alpaca breeding and processing the high-quality wool into clothing is a thousand-year-old tradition in Peru. The knowledge of the rural population in the Andes mountains is impressive and the pride with which the Peruvians bring their traditional product into the world inspired us from the very first moment. With a baby alpaca pullover for women you will experience comfort and convenience at the highest level.
